TRURO, N.S. — Anthony James has achieved his goal, winning a medal at the Special Olympics World Games.

The Truro track athlete was a member of Canada’s 4 x 100m relay team that won silver in the M10 division on March 20.

Before heading to the United Arab Emirates to compete, James said, “The important thing is to do my best and have fun, but I want to bring one medal home – any colour.”

James was also fourth in the 100m run, missing third place by 15/100 of a second,

 and fifth in the 200m run. He set new personal best times in both events.
