Seventh annual Truro Kids Triathlon runs in Victoria Park

TRURO, N.S. — The seventh annual Truro Kids Triathlon brought young athletes out for a beautiful day of sports in Victoria Park Saturday.

The Aug. 17 event saw children swim, bike and run in the park. The triathlon was not timed and young athletes received medals at the end, after being cheered on by their parents and families.

The aim of the Truro Kids Triathlon is to introduce children to this sport and encourage a healthy lifestyle, as wel as serve as an introduction to triathlon athletics.
