MONCTON, N.B. – The Maritime Junior Hockey League has named Dave Ritcey as the league’s interim president until the end of the season.
Ritcey replaces president Brian Whitehead, who had his contract terminated by the league last Saturday.
Ritcey has a strong background in business and sports, coupled with over 20 years of coaching, scouting and hockey administration experience. He also served as the MHL president for a year and a half until 2016.
The Maritime Junior Hockey League will begin the search for a full-time president in the next few months.
