SYDNEY, N.S. — A former Cape Breton Eagles draft pick took home the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League's top individual honour of the week this week.

Luke Henman, a second-round pick of the Eagles in 2016, took home the player of the week after scoring four goals and adding three assists in two games last week.

The Dartmouth product, who is serving as the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada captain this season, currently sits tied for seventh in league scoring with 55 points in 44 games and is expected to play against Cape Breton Thursday in Sydney.

Henman is a fourth-round draft pick of the Carolina Hurricanes at the 2018 NHL Entry Draft.
