Halifax’s Rick Leon captured the Nova Scotia provincial snooker championship Saturday in Dartmouth.
It’s the fourth title he has won this season. Leon was also victorious at the Maritime closed snooker and open snooker championships and is the provincial 10-ball titleholder.
He will travel twice to Scarborough, Ont., in the next couple of months. He will represent Nova Scotia at the Canadian snooker championship, May 9-12 and then returns the following month to play 9-ball and 10-ball at the 2019 CBSA Canadian Pool Championships on June 11.
