Karlee Jones and Bryce Everist of the Halifax Curling Club are the Nova Scotia Curling Association athletes of the year.

Jones and Everist teamed up to win silver at this year’s Canadian mixed curling championship. Isabelle Ladouceur and her Lakeshore crew and Graeme Weagle’s squad from the Chester Curling Club were the teams of the year.

Other major award winners were: Paul Hawkes, Amherst Curling Club, volunteer of the year; Brian Rafuse, Lakeshore Curling Club and Anthony Purcell, Chester Curling Club, coaches of the year; Jeff Morse, official of the year and Peter Neily, Truro Curling Club, Peter MacPhee award.

Dartmouth’s Lowell Goulden and Coldbrook’s Jill Alcoe-Holland and Andrea Saulnier were inducted into the Nova Scotia Curling Hall of Fame.
