Locke’s 72-hole score of 33-over 313 put him tied for 66th at the championship that was played at the par-70, 6,497-yard Kanawaki Golf Club near Montreal.
Locke’s round on Thursday included one birdie, eight bogeys and one double-bogey.
The highlight for Locke at his first national golf championship was a second-round even-par 70, which tied for low round of the day and allowed him to make the cut on the number at 155.
American Gene Elliott won the event by two strokes with 3-over 283.
