BIBLE HILL, N.S. – The Truro Horsemen’s Club will hold a dance and auction fundraiser next month.
The event will take place Nov. 23 and will feature four bands in four hours. The entertainment gets underway at 2 p.m. and will include Jackie Putnam (2 to 3 p.m.), Seeing Double (3 to 4 p.m.), Take Two (4 to 5 p.m.) and Mud River Band (5 to 6 p.m.).
A meal – pulled pork on a bun with home-cut fries – will be served from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Meal tickets are $10.
Beginning at 8:30 p.m., a dance will be held with music by the Arjays.
There will be silent and live auctions, a 50-50 draw, balloon blitz and basket draw. Donations will also be accepted at the door.
