TRURO, N.S. – Bearcat-of-the-Week honours went to second-year forward, Cole Julian.
He scored the opening goal in the 4–1 win over the South Shore Lumberjacks Saturday at the RECC, sparking the Bearcats and causing the teddy bears to rain down on the ice, during the Teddy Bear Toss. It was a great scene.
Julian got his hockey start in the Eastern Shore Minor hockey program, working his way through the ranks to the Bantam level, when he suited up with the Harbour Storm Major Bantams for a pair of seasons, scoring 24 points during the second.
Next up were two seasons with the Cole Harbour Midget Wolfpack. The 2018 Bearcats pick made a strong impression last year where his reputation as a physical presence was made clear. He plays a strong game along the boards and wears his intensity on his sleeve. A consummate team player, he takes to the game as intended.
GREAT SUPPORT
Thanks go out to all who supported the Teddy Bear Toss last week. A great response and great support for the needs of the local area.
The Colchester Food Bank will have boxes set up to receive non-perishable items during this Saturday’s game.
