TRURO, N.S. – The Cobequid Cougars dropped their first game at the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation Northumberland region baseball championship.

The Cougars suffered a 13-3 loss at the hands of the Northumberland Nighthawks on Friday morning, Oct. 4, at the Stadium Diamond in Truro.

The Cougars return to action on Friday afternoon against the North Nova Gryphons.

CEC is two-time NSSAF reigning champions.
