TRURO, N.S. – The Cobequid Cougars are Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation Division 1 girls soccer champions.

The Cougars defeated the Horton Griffins 3-1 in the provincial final on Saturday, Nov. 2 to earn the school’s first girls soccer title in 27 years.

In boys action, CEC took the bronze medal after a 3-1 win over Riverview in the third-place game. Citadel defeated Halifax West in the gold-medal match.
