TRURO, N.S. – Cam Patton is enjoying success at all levels this season as a member of the Carleton Place Canadians junior A hockey team.

The Bible Hill forward is fourth in team scoring, averaging about a point per game with 18 goals and 24 assists in 41 games. He leads the Canadians in power-play goals with 11. Patton had a goal and an assist in his team’s most recent game – a 3-2 victory over the Rockland Nationals on Jan. 5.

The Canadians are first overall in the Central Canada Hockey League with a record of 33-5-3-2 for 71 points – 14 points clear of the second-place Brockville Braves.

Patton is one of three Nova Scotia players on the Canadians’ roster. Forward Brett Thorne of Bedford is second in team scoring with 12 goals and 51 points, while David Gagnon of Halifax is third in scoring with 20 goals and 48 points.
