Khovanov gets a game for biting Clavelle

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Moncton Wildcats forward Alexander Khovanov has been suspended one game for biting Charlottetown Islanders captain Brendon Clavelle’s finger at the end of Sunday’s game.

The Quebec Major Junior Hockey League announced the punishment on its website Monday afternoon. Khovanov also received major and match penalties on the scoresheet plus a roughing minor.

No other suspensions were announced.
