TRURO, N.S. – Home sweet home? Not so much for the D&D Bookkeeping Truro Bearcats.
A month-and-a-half into the Nova Scotia Intermediate Baseball League season and the Bearcats still haven’t played a single game at the TAAC Grounds. Last Sunday the Bearcats were to host the Windsor Knights for a doubleheader, however, those games were rained out. Truro was to play its home opener way back on May 19, however, the fields weren’t ready.
Truro’s next home date is July 28 when they host the Pictou County Albions for a pair.
This weekend, the Bearcats (3-6) hit the road for a pair of games in Amherst against the Athletics.
