TRURO, N.S. – Rachel Kinch notched two goals and assisted on another as Wildflower Apparel and Promotional Products downed Castle Masstown Hardware 5-1 in recent Colchester Women’s Recreational Hockey League action.

Tracey Murdock added a goal and an assist for the winners, while Ashley Hunt and Brooklyn Bishop also scored. Assists went to Julie Small, Michelle MacDonald, Danielle McCully and Heather Pothier. Miriam Gordon was in nets.

For Masstown, Casie Skidmore scored with Lisa Leopold assisting. Patty Willigar played between the pipes.

In other recent action, Truro Nissan edged Pro Design Cresting 4-3.

April MacKay and Heather Dyke each netted a pair of goals for Nissan, while Kathleen Johnson, with two, Emily Wainwright and Maddy Doiron added assists.

Joanne McRae, Laura Jenkins and Sonya Aikens scored for Pro Cresting and Alex Johnson and Shannon MacKenzie had helpers.
