HALIFAX, N.S. – Jared McIsaac racked up nine points in three games last week and was named to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League Team of the Week.
The Truro defenceman scored two goals and added seven assists in Halifax victories last week against Victoriaville, Sherbrooke and Moncton.
McIsaac, a second-round draft pick (36th overall) of the Detroit Red Wings, has 11 goals and 31 assists in 35 games this season with the Mooseheads.
McIsaac’s Halifax teammates Samuel Asselin and Antoine Morand were also named to the Q-league Team of the Week. Asselin scored six goals and added five assists in the trio of games, while Morand had three goals and six assists.
