TRURO, N.S. — UPDATE: GOOD NEWS: The MIA goalie has been located and arrangements are being made for him to be returned to the Truro Junior 'A' Bearcats in the near future. Thanks for spreading the word.

The Truro junior A Bearcats are down a goalie.
Myles Hektor and Alec MacDonald are fine. The goaltender they’re trying to track down is a two-dimensional version, one of a pair of cutouts they had for fans to enjoy during the past season.
The goaltender, always accompanied by a skater, was set up during games and at special events at the Rath-Eastlink Community Centre. Fans, young and old, could have their photos taken, giving them the sense of being suited up for the Bearcats.
The team paid to have them made for the enjoyment of their fans, however, the goaltender prop was recently taken, and the team wants it back.
According to a team official, it may be hanging on a wall, crumpled in a bag or under a seat, but the Bearcats want it returned as soon as possible, so it can continue to be enjoyed by the Bearcats faithful for its intended purpose.
If you have any information on the whereabouts of the Bearcats goaltender cutout, call or text 902-899-0099 or 902-899-5045 with information or to have it be picked up.
