Mooseheads volunteer for Truro minor hockey

TRURO, N.S. – Members of the Halifax Mooseheads of the QMJHL were recently at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre to provide on-ice instruction to players in the Truro and Area Minor Hockey Association (TAMHA).

Ben Higgins, of Bible Hill, Walter Flower and Joel Bishop, along with assistant coach Jon Greenwood, were in Truro for the sessions.

Following on-ice instruction, players signed autographs for young players.

Higgins grew up playing in the TAMHA.

The Mooseheads, who finished atop the Maritimes Division, host the Quebec Remparts for Game 1 in their first-round playoff series on Friday, March 22 at the Scotiabank Centre, beginning at 7 p.m. Game 2 is Saturday, also in Halifax, at 7 p.m.
