TRURO, N.S. – The Truro Bearcats return to the ice this weekend for two games in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League.

The Bearcats visit the Antigonish-based Novas on Saturday at 5 p.m., before a Sunday game in Cape Breton against the Joneljim Cougars at 11:15 p.m.

The Bearcats are coming off a 6-4 loss to the Bedford Barons last Sunday. Andyn Furmidge, with two, Bryson Currie and Brayden Schmitt scored goals for the Bearcats in that contest. The previous day, the Bearcats edged the Gulls 4-3 on goals by Bryson Currie, with two, and Nik Xidos.
