Fundy Selects lose, tie in bantam AA hockey

TRURO, N.S. – The Fundy Highland bantam AA Subway Selects suffered their first league loss and salvaged a tie in two road games over the weekend in South Conference female hockey action.

In Game 1, the Selects were edged 2-1 by Metro West Force Blue. Olivia Fitt provided the goal with an assist by Baillie Griffon.

Sunday saw the Selects tie Metro East Inferno Black 1-1. Erin MacNeil scored the lone goal. Gabby Arsenault provided solid goaltending in both contests.

The Selects second-place record now stands at 5-1-1.
