TRURO, N.S. – Cam Lynds pumped home two goals, including the eventual game-winner midway through the second period, as the Pictou County Crushers downed the South Shore Lumberjacks 6-2 Friday to win the HNS Day of Champions midget A division.
Lucas LeBlanc, Burke Murray, Ryan Denny and Brycen MacDonald scored other goals for the Crushers in the provincial title game played at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro.
Tyler Matchem was solid between the pipes and picked up the win.
Earlier in the day, the Cole Harbour Wings claimed the midget B banner after a 6-1 win over the TASA Ducks.
