The Stellarton Fire Department is hosting the second annual Catherine Campbell
Memorial Scholarship hockey tournament next month.
This tournament is open to emergency responders only. Organizations short on players can pick up players that belong to other emergency responding organizations.
The tournament will be held Jan. 25 to 27.
The cost for entry is $650 per team, with each team guaranteed three games. All games will be played at Stellarton Memorial Rink. There will only be eight teams accepted in the tournament. On Jan. 26, a meet and greet will be held for all the players and families.
Teams must provide a roster of all players who will be playing. It’s a first-come first-serve
situation so teams are encouraged to submit their rosters quickly. Teams will be given spots in the tournament based on who has paid the registration fees and the order received.
Deadline for registration is Jan. 14.
The schedule will be emailed to teams Jan. 15. Should the tournament be full before the deadline, organizers will send the schedule out sooner.
