Bubba Ray’s skates to women’s ice hockey win

TRURO, N.S. – Marissa Roode and Kelsey Brown each notched two goals as Bubba Ray’s downed CIBC Wood Gundy 6-1 recently in the Colchester Women's Recreational Hockey League.

Leah Tagliapietra and Georgette Turner scored other goals for Bubba Ray’s, while Jackie White was the playmaker with three assists. Tina Julien, Brown and Monika Dangler had other helpers.

Erin Bak was the lone CIBC shooter who was able to solve Bubba Ray’s goaltender Leanne O’Hanley.
