TRURO, N.S. – The Truro Bearcats look to wrap up their Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League playoff series on Saturday when they host the Joneljim Cougars of Cape Breton at the RECC at 4 p.m.
The Bearcats won the opening game in the best-of-three series 3-2 in overtime last Saturday in North Sydney.
Nicolas Marshall scored the winning goal at 5:20 of the first overtime period to give Truro victory. Bryson Currie scored two goals for the Bearcats, including a power-play marker.
Truro goaltender Lisa Mombourquette made 18 saves for the win.
