TRURO, N.S. – The Truro Atom A Bearcats finished their season on Saturday with a loss to the South Shore Lumberjacks at the Hockey Nova Scotia Day of Champions.

The Lumberjacks scored two goals in an 18-second span in the second period and came away with a 4-2 victory at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre.

Manny Vaugh, Alex Lynch, Otto Patscha and Gavin Bezeau scored for South Shore, while Hayden Doiron had both goals for the Bearcats and Jordan Carr added an assist.

In the provincial atom AA final, the Bearcats lost 7-4 to Acadia.
