TRURO, N.S. – The TAAC Grounds will host a full day of action on the gridiron on Saturday, as three Truro teams see action in the Nova Scotia Minor Football Association.
The Truro Tide hosts the Bedford/Sackville Saints at 10 a.m. in an atom division matchup. The Tide enter the game after a season-opening 24-0 win over the South Shore Seahawks.
In the peewee division, the Truro Blue Bombers look for their first win when they host the Saints for a noon kickoff. The Bombers fell 22-0 to the Dartmouth Destroyers Black in their opener.
Also on Saturday, the Truro Freightliners bantam team will butt heads with the Saints at 2 p.m. The Freights opened with a 31-12 setback at the hands of the Dartmouth Destroyers Black.
