TRURO, N.S. – The Cobequid Cougars will host a Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation High School Football League Tier 2 semifinal on Saturday.
The Cougars entertain the J.L. Illsley Judges for a 2 p.m. kickoff at James Macpherson Stadium.
The Cougars finished the regular season in fourth place in the Nova Conference with a record of 3-5. They earned a bye to Sunday’s semifinal game.
The Judges were also 3-5 this season and finished fifth in the Scotia Conference. J.L. Illsley defeated the Cole Harbour Cavaliers 18-7 in a quarter-final on Monday.
The Dartmouth Spartans meet the Halifax West Warriors in the other Tier 2 semifinal game Sunday.
In Tier 1 semifinal playoffs on Sunday, Citadel faces Sir. John A Macdonald and C.P. Allen will butt heads with Lockview.
