David Acker is the new president of the Nova Scotia Golf Association.

The Kentville resident and Ken-Wo Golf Club member was elected Saturday during the NSGA annual general meeting at Glen Arbour Golf Club. Appointed to the association’s executive in 2016, Acker will serve as president for the remainder of the 2018 and 2019.

The 2018-19 board of directors are: Wendy Sentner, Public Player (vice-president); David Bolton, Ken-Wo (second vice-president); Garry Beattie, Ashburn (past president) and Matt Golding, Ashburn (secretary/treasurer).
