Cougars advance to NSSAF championship

TRURO, N.S. – The Cobequid Cougars have advanced to the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation boys’ golf championship.

The Cougars punched their ticket to the event on Monday after winning the NSSAF Northumberland region crown at Truro Golf Club.

Isaac MacNaughton led the Cougars with a round of 4-over-par 75, followed by Connor MacKay, 80; Carter McNutt, 83; and Sam Stoddard, 84.

The provincial tournament will be held Oct. 2 at Paragon in Kinsgton.
