TRURO, N.S. – Michael Adams of the Cobequid Cougars has been honoured by the Nova Scotia School Athletic Federation Football League.
Adams was named Scotia Conference most valuable player and was a league all-star at the quarterback and kick returner positions.
The Grade 12 student also punted for the Cougars this season and was a linebacker.
Two other members of the Cougars were named to the all-star team – defensive lineman Ivan Gault and linebacker Jordan Waller.
The Cougars posted a 6-2 record in the regular season to finish in second place in the Scotia Conference and suffered a 15-8 loss to the Sir John A Macdonald Flames in a quarter-final playoff game.
