BROOKFIELD, N.S. – The Brookfield Elks surrendered seven second-period goals and lost 9-4 to the Antigonish Bulldogs on Tuesday in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League.

The Elks remain winless in seven games this season with a record of 0-6-1-0.

Brookfield took a 1-0 lead into the second period on Tuesday, however, the Bulldogs took control with three goals in the first four minutes of the middle frame.

Jakob Deveau, Riley Scott, Bailey Fraser and Connor Miller had goals for Brookfield and Mikey Willis and Chad Tucker each had two assists.

The Elks visit the Strait Pirates Friday and host he Pictou County Scotians on Tuesday at the sportsplex at 7:30 p.m.
