TRURO, N.S. – Truro driver Dylan Blenkhorn takes a 22-point lead into the final race of the season on the Parts for Trucks Maritime Pro Stock Tour.

Blenkhorn will look to keep second-place driver Jonathan Hicken of Brudenell, P.E.I., in his rear-view mirror on Saturday, Sept. 28 at the Atlantic Oliver Tire 200 at Scotia Speedworld.

Last Saturday, Blenkhorn finished second at the Lucas Oil 150 at Riverside International Speedway, while Hicken was third. Both drivers started the race mid-pack before working their way to a podium finishes.

Podium finishes are something Blenkhorn is familiar with. He has finished top-three in eight of 11 races this season – including three victories – and has never finished outside the top-five.

Blenkhorn is trying to win his first championship after finishing second in 2018 and third in 2015. The points champion will earn $10,000.

Cole Butcher of Porter’s Lake won last weekend’s race.
