Reid carries hot stick for Kinsmen

TRURO, N.S. – Logan Reid wielded a hot bat, clubbing three home runs to lead the Bible Hill Kinsmen to a 16-13 win over Markie Bus Tours in the mosquito division of the Bible Hill-Truro Minor Baseball Association.

Cole Macmillian pitched two innings for the Kinsmen and allowed just one run, while Braden Croft-Shay pitched a scoreless inning for Markie’s.

In another game, Supplement King and Pye Apartments battled to a 10-10 tie.

Supplement pitcher Jayden Holmes threw two innings and retired the side in order each time. Travis McAndrew and Jaden Duncan combined to throw an inning. Duncan stepped up in a tense situation to get two batters out, which saved the tie for his team.

Pye's pitcher Finton Boudreau had three strikeouts in the fourth inning.

Holmes led Supplement King at the plate with a grand slam, while Jack Rau and Mason Sampson each batted in three runs for Pye’s.
