Greeno allowed three runs and 10 hits in 7 1/3 innings in a 9-8 Truro victory in Game 1 of a doubleheader.
At the plate, Greeno helped his own cause with four singles and four RBI.
Joe MacPherson added three hits and drove in two runs for the Bearcats, while Mitchell LeBlanc singled and doubled and Brandon Betts doubled.
It was Truro’s first win of the season after dropping both ends of a doubleheader to the Noel Road Jays on May 21.
In Game 2, the Bearcats had just four hits in a 9-2 loss to the Braves. MacPherson, LeBlanc, Scott Baillie and Logan Dawe each had singles.
Chris Richards was tagged with the loss, going six innings before MacPherson came on to pitch an inning of relief.
The Bearcats play their home-opening doubleheader on Sunday at the TAAC Grounds, beginning at 1 p.m. against the Shelburne County Schooners.
The provincial intermediate loop includes eight teams.
