Fundy Textiles earns victory over Kinsmen

TRURO, N.S. – Fundy Textiles came from behind to edge the Bible Hill Kinsmen 10-9 in the mosquito division of the Bible Hill-Truro Minor Baseball Association.

Fundy pitchers Dylan Atwater, Austin Brown and Griffen Scott combined for five strikeouts. At the plate, Scott, Kasey Rushton and Ben Poehl delivered key hits.

Logan Reid and Cole Thurbide pitched for the Kinsmen and struck out four. Offensively, Caleb Hominick, Ethan Dingle and Cole MacMillan led the way.

Pye Apartments 10, MacQuarries 6

Kyah Lovell went 2-for-3 with a double for the winners, while Mason Sampson went 2-for-2 with a triple. Pye’s pounded out 11 hits in the contest.

Dawson Drummond, Chloe Garcia and Fintan Boudreau pitched for Pye’s and combined for 12 Ks.

Embracor Medical 10, Classic Rentals 0

Logan Dickie stroked an RBI double and scored two runs for Embracor, while Mathew Scullion went 2-for-2, drove in a run and scored two runs. Cadin Skinner added a single, double, RBI and scored two runs and

Tyler Murray tripled, drove in two runs and scored a run. Noah Morin contributed a double.

Zander McKeigan pitched a perfect inning and struck out the side, while Skinner threw one inning and fanned two.

Lukas Hicks singled and Tom Frizzle doubled for Classic. Brayde Doran pitched one inning and struck out three.

Bible Hill Fireman 17, Markie Bus Tours 14

Aidan Johnson and Landon MacKenzie led the Firemen with three hits apiece and two runs scored.

William Pictou had two doubles, a single and five RBI for Markie, while Dennis Chisholm singled, walked twice and scored three runs and had an RBI.

Supplement King 9, Great Village Tide 7

Travis McAndrew pitched two solid innings to cement the win for Supplement King.
