Embracor Medical earns Game 2 victory in mosquito final series

TRURO, N.S. – Embracor Medical has forced a deciding game in the Bible Hill-Truro Minor Baseball Association mosquito division championship series.

Embracor earned a 5-3 victory over Fundy Textiles on Thursday in Game 2 in the best-of-three final series. Fundy won the opening game Tuesday 12-3.

The deciding game will be played Tuesday at Victoria Park at 6 p.m.

Owen Paris led Embracor Thursday with a double and two RBI. He also pitched two innings and struck out four. Matthew Scullion singled and scored a pair of runs and Logan Dickie singled and scored. Tyler Murray also pitched one inning for Embracor.

For Fundy, Griffen Scott doubled and scored, while Dylan Atwater and Austin Brown singled and scored runs and Jack Michaud doubled.

Ryan Vohra pitched an inning and struck out two, while Scott also saw mound duty for an inning and fanned three.
