BHTMBA – Brown walks it off for Embracor Medical

TRURO, N.S. – Madeline Brown hit a walk-off RBI single to lift Embracor Medical to a 10-9 victory over Markie Bus Tours in mosquito division action in the Bible Hill-Truro Minor Baseball Association Tuesday.

Cadin Skinner swatted a pair of singles for Embracor and scored the winning run. Owen Paris contributed a three-run triple and a game-tying RBI double, while Savanna Scullion, Logan Dickie and Tyler Murray each added two hits.

Matthew Scullion pitched one inning for the winners and picked up two strikeouts, while Aaliyah Morin also pitched an inning and had a strikeout.

Avery Slobodzian went 3-for-3 and scored three runs for Markie’s, while Chris Decoste and RJ Toney each had two singles and drove in a run. Mataya Toney also had two hits and

William Pictou and Connor Stewart each added a hit and an RBI.

Toney pitched two innings and struck out three and Decoste threw one inning and had a strikeout.

Fundy Textiles 13 MacQuarries Pharmasave 3

Griffen Scott and Austin Brown pitched for Fundy and combined for four strikeouts, while Brown and Dylan Atwater each delivered a couple of key hits in the win.

Logan Roop and Seth Crowe knocked out hits for MacQuarries.

In other action, the Bible Hill Firefighters doused the Great Village Tide 15-4.
