Bearcats seeking second straight senior baseball win

TRURO, N.S. – The Truro Bearcats will be in search of their second straight win over the Halifax Pelham Canadians Tuesday when the teams meet in the Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League.

Game time at the TAAC Grounds is 7:30 p.m.

The Bearcats defeated the Canadians 10-7 last Friday in Truro.

The Bearcats (6-17) are fighting for their playoff lives. They are in a tight battle with the Kentville Wildcats (6-18) for the fourth and final playoff spot.

Following tonight’s contest, the Bearcats hit the road to Sydney this weekend for games against the first-place Sooners (17-5) on Friday (7 p.m.) and Saturday (1 p.m.).
