I have a generally favourable impression of the British Royal Family. I understand from the news that Harry and Meghan might be moving to Canada, which I am sure will be very well received by a significant portion of the Canadian population. Wonderful for the Royals and Royal watchers.
But there is no way that one dollar of Canadian taxpayers’ money should be spent on their movements within Canada or on their security expenses. If they decide to come to Canada to live, that is on them, not us.
