Wayne Kenneth Gilchrist

Gilchrist, Wayne Kenneth, 66, Truro, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in Townsview Estates, Truro. Born in Truro, he was a son of the late Murray and Louise (Weatherbey) Gilchrist. Wayne worked for many years at Home Hardware, Debert. He is survived by a son Jeff of Prince George, BC; daughter Jennifer Williams (Brandon) of Debert; grandchildren Brandon, Dante, Declan, Hartley; sister Edwina Schwantz (Willard) of Petawawa, ON; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles; mother-in-law Loretta Sullivan of Brookfield. Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his wife Margaret Ann (Sullivan) Gilchrist; brother, Ronnie. No visitation or funeral service by family request. Arrangements are under the direction of Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Donations in memory may be made to Wayward Cats, Truro.
