Nancy Lucille Lynds

LYNDS, Nancy Lucille Nancy Lucille Lynds, 81, Valley, Col. Co., passed away Saturday, December 28, 2019 in the Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Dorothy (Delaney) Bailey. Nancy enjoyed painting, going to dances and having kids up at the house for a visit. She cared deeply for her friends and family. Nancy is survived by her children, Anita McKinnon (Gary), Darren (Kim Crowe); grandchildren, Adam McLean (Heidi), Blake McLean (Laura), Michelle Smith (Scott), Ashley Moore (Chris); great-grandchildren, Taylor and Alex McLean, Ben and Marlee Smith; sister, Colleen Collins; brother, Darrell Bailey (Linda), as well as numerous extended family members. She was predeceased by her husband, Fred, as well as numerous siblings. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young St., Truro, where visitation will take place on Saturday evening, January 4 from 7-9 p.m. A private family interment will be held at a later date. No flowers by family request. Donations in memory may be made to the Colchester SPCA or to a charity of choice.
