Etta Ellen O'Brien

O’Brien, Etta Ellen, 97, Bible Hill, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018 in Vimy Court, Bible Hill. Born in Moose River, Hants County, she was a daughter of the late John and Leah (MacCallum) O’Brien. Etta is survived by sons, Frank of Bible Hill, Paul of Glenholme, Roland of Bridgewater; daughters, Ann Peterson (Victor) of Bible Hill, May LeBlanc (Ulysse) of Valley; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother Clarence; sisters Gladys and Grace; half sister Edna Morrison. Arrangements are under the direction of the Mattatall~Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro. Visitation took take place on Saturday, Oct. 6th, from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. followed by burial in Crossroads Cemetery Valley. Donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society or to the Palliative Care Unit of CEHHC, Truro.
