Eileen Mackeigan (Chappell)

Age 92, Truro, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, in Truro. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of the late John and Margaret (Ferguson) MacDonald. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Sheila (John Rafferty); step daughter, Valerie (Pierre Legault); grandchildren, Paddy, Conor, Meghan, Mira, Erica; great grandchildren, Declan and Carrick. The family wishes to thank Elizabeth and Vonda from Earth Angels, caregivers from VON Homecare, Dr. Trevor Locke and the medical team on 3E at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre. According to Eileen’s wishes, a summer time memorial service will be held at Oakfield Cemetery, Hillside, Cape Breton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
