Doreen Crowther
Doreen Lynn (Taylor) Crowther, age 66, of Truro, formerly of Westville, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2019 at the Q.E. II Infirmary Site. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Gordon and Myrtle (Walsh) Taylor. Doreen was a member of the Anglican Church, she worked many years at MacQuarrie’s Pharmasave in Truro where she made many friends. Doreen volunteered at the Truro Homeless Outreach Shelter “Hub House”, which she found very rewarding making many friends there as well. She is survived by her daughter Cheryl Paris (Eric); a son Danny (Tia); grandchildren, Steven Paris (Vanessa), Daniel, Quill, and Keo Crowther; two great-grandchildren Kaiden and Zoey Totten-Paris. She is also survived by brothers David Taylor (Debbie) and Stewart Taylor (Dee); close friend Mike Giles; several nieces and nephews and a former husband Dan Crowther. She was predeceased by her parents; infant sister Cheryl Lynn; and parents-in-law Dan and Josephine Crowther. There will be no visitations. Her funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Monday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with Rev. Falen McNulty. Interment will be in Auburn Cemetery, Westville.
