Dena (Mccready) Drummond

(McCready) Drummond, Dena – 45, of Truro, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at home. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of Dave and the late Estelle (McCready) Foulkes. Dena had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone that needed it. Her passion was reading and she loved dolphins. Her feline fur babies, Max and Leo, also held a special place in her heart. Dena is survived by her son, Dylan Drummond (Liz), Truro; sister, Melissa McCready, Truro; step-brothers, Richard Foulkes (Kyla), Halifax; D’Arcy Foulkes (Nancy), New Brunswick; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandparents Catherine and France Flemming. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall-Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro where the family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2018. Burial will be held at a later date. If so desired, donations in Dena’s memory to SPCA or a charity of your choice are welcomed.
