BIBLE HILL, N.S. — A 22-year-old Great Village man has been charged with stunting after allegedly being clocked on police radar driving at 168 km/hr on Hwy. 104 in Glenholme at 2:44 p.m. Thursday.
That is 58 km/hr above the posted speed limit of 110 km/hr.
The offence was one of two stunting charges laid by members of the RCMP's Northwest Traffic Services on Nov. 14
Police also charged a 23-year-old Dartmouth man for allegedly travelling at 193 km/hr on Hwy. 104 in Sutherland's Lake, Cumberland County.
Neither man was named in the RCMP news release.
Both vehicles were seized and towed from the scene and the men’s driver licences were suspended for seven days pursuant to the Motor Vehicle Act. The fine for a stunting conviction in Nova Scotia is $2,422.50.
