TRURO — A Truro man previously charged with sexually assaulting two boys is facing additional charges after six more individuals approached police with new allegations.
Arthur Chestnut, 69, has been charged with several counts of indecent assault and gross indecency and two counts of sexual interference dating back to between the late 1960s and 2014, the Truro Police Service said Friday.
In November, Chestnut was charged with sexual offences 1968 and 1970 involving two boys. The men went to Truro police with their complaints last August.
Chestnut is in custody and is scheduled to appear in Truro provincial court Monday.
