EARLTOWN, N.S. - Due to unsafe conditions, the planned 6 kilometre hike through Gully Lake has been cancelled for Saturday.

The Cobequid Eco-Trails hike was set to start at Sugar Moon Farms and go along the famous Rogart Mountain Trail leading to new trail signage.

Unfortunately, changing temperatures and recent rain has left the trail icy and was deemed unsafe after organizers scouted it out Thursday.

Currently, the Cobequid Eco-Trails Society are looking at rescheduling the hike to a date in March, depending on weather and trail conditions.
