A man who crashed a vehicle while driving with a two-year-old passenger is facing charges.
Just before 12:30 a.m. on Nov. 30 Halifax District RCMP responded to a collision on Highway 103 in Upper Tantallon. Officers found a 2004 Jeep TJ lying on its roof in the ditch. The 22-year-old driver, from Timberlea, and the child were uninjured.
The driver is facing charges for Impaired Operation and Operating a Motor Vehicle over the Legal Limit. As well, a referral has been made to Community Services for driving a motor vehicle while impaired and having a child present.
