RCMP searching for shoeless suspect in Lunenburg County

FOX POINT, N.S. —

RCMP concerned for safety of a break and enter suspect who lost his shoes while fleeing.

Police received a call about a suspecious vehilce on Lighthouse Rd., in Fox Point, at 2:52 a.m. on March 1. They arrived to find a break and enter in progress, with two men inside the home. One suspect fled into the nearby ocean and was arrested a short time afterwards. As the second man ran into the woods, his footwear came off and was later recovered by police. He continued running. 

RCMP are concerned for the safety of the man, who was not dressed for the weather. He's described as a white male in his twenties, about five foot nine inches tall, weighing one hundred and forty pounds, with brown hair and no shoes.
